2002 RRRR
The 2002 Rollin' Round the River Ride was a great time for a great cause. We raised more than $600 for Wilkes County Special Olympics to assist Special Olympics cyclist Chris Clarida. Thirty five riders from seven counties across northwest North Carolina participated in the ride, held under crystal-clear skies on Saturday, September 28th. Our riders ranged in age from 21 to 71. Several of our 50 mile riders said it was the longest ride of their lives.
